Home is where the heart is

A self entitled entry, I believe that many people agree home is the best place to be. Even if we go to the most beautiful place in the world, given the choice, most of us will never trade his own cosy room for any place in the world. Not for a 7 star hotel room of Burj Al Arab at the outskirt of Abu Dhabi beach, not for a palace of Istana Nurul Iman, the largest palace in the world or even a whole town of Manhattan in New York.

Why do we love our own house so much? Is it because of the nostalgia? Or perhaps it is due to the strong bond of love to our possessions?

Success in life is measured through lots of parameters. One of the parameters is how rich you are. This includes how big is your house or how big your mansion. You will be highly respected by your neighbours and people will love to make friends with you.  Your neighbours will secretly keep a dream that how they wish and long to have such a big house as yours.

Rich people will then decorate their house will extravagant and luxurious items. Architects and interior designers were hired to give advice on the best design that pleases their heart. They would try their best to transform their house into a paradise filled with gardens apart from the beautiful structures either outside or inside the house. As there are so many valuables stuff, they will also install high security system around the house.

Those are the descriptions of an ideal house. Many people will work their hours like a dog, just to get as much money as possible to build their dream house.

For me, the most important thing is the people in the house. Even the house has only one room and everyone has to cramp in it, even the house has no decoration or just has modest items, I will never trade the people that stay in the house.

To all my housemates, thank you for making the home the best place for me. Home is indeed where the heart is.
